What we set
Locale
Remembers the language you have chosen so the site does not switch back on every visit. First-party. Expires after one year.
Session
Keeps your enquiry form filled in if you navigate away mid-conversation. First-party. Cleared when you close the browser.
Analytics
Anonymous, aggregate page-view counts so we know which essays are being read. No personal information, no IP retention. Expires after 30 days.
How to refuse
Every modern browser allows you to block or delete cookies on a per-site basis — usually in Settings under "Privacy" or "Site Data". Blocking the cookies above does not affect your ability to use the site; the language preference will simply reset between visits.
