A Glimpse of the Itinerary

The arc of Wild Collection

A sketch, never a script. Every journey is rewritten in private for the traveller it is for, then quietly shaped over a single conversation. What follows is the shape of one possible wild collection arc.

  1. Day 1

    The River

    +

    Entebbe → Jinja

Meet privately at Entebbe and travel east towards Jinja. The pace begins gently. Settle beside the Nile and take the first evening slowly, perhaps by boat, on foot or simply from the riverbank as the light falls. Tomorrow, you leave the ground.

  2. Day 2

    Choose Your Adrenaline

    +

    Jinja

Today, you decide how you want your pulse to rise. Bungee over the Nile, zipline through the forest canopy, quad biking through rural tracks, white-water tubing, water biking or kayaking. Combine two if you wish. Everyone reconverges beside the Nile for sunset.

  3. Day 3

    Run The Nile

    +

    Jinja

A full day on the river, composed around your appetite for intensity. Grade V rapids with a private safety boat, or a gentler family-friendly section. Hot springs and a riverside grill at dusk.

  4. Day 4

    The Rock That Remembers

    +

    Jinja → Kagulu → Sipi

Leave Jinja early and travel north into Busoga. Climb Kagulu Rock with a local guide and discover the stories woven into one of Busoga's most significant landmarks. After lunch, continue towards the Mount Elgon highlands. Arrive in Sipi towards evening.

  5. Day 5

    The Three Falls

    +

    Sipi

Wake above the escarpment. Today is on foot. Follow the trails through coffee gardens, hillside communities and the green folds of Mount Elgon. Visit the three Sipi waterfalls.

  6. Day 6

    From Bloom To Brew

    +

    Mount Elgon

Follow coffee from the mountain to the cup. Walk through the Arabica gardens with a local grower, see the cherries on the plant, learn how they are picked, washed, dried, roasted and ground. Then make your own cup. Spend the afternoon as you wish.

  7. Day 7

    The Vertical

    +

    Sipi Falls

Today, the waterfall changes. You no longer simply stand beside it, you descend it, a 100m abseil beside the main Sipi waterfall with an experienced technical team. Prefer the ground? A longer guided highland hike takes you through the surrounding landscape instead.

  8. Day 8

    Above The Plains

    +

    Wanale · Mount Elgon

Climb higher. Head towards Wanale and explore the foothills and escarpments of Mount Elgon, choosing the route according to your appetite: the ridge, the view, or a balanced trail of village paths and mountain scenery. No summit is required.

  9. Day 9

The Day With Nowhere To Be

    +

    Sipi

After eight days of movement, today is intentionally different. Return to the coffee gardens, spend time with local hosts, food, craft and stories, or take the slow wild: breakfast with the view, a short walk, a long lunch, a book, the last mountain sunset.

  10. Day 10

    The Last Run

    +

    Sipi → Entebbe

Wake to the highland morning. One final coffee. One final view across the plains. Then onward to Entebbe.
