Uganda holds thirteen primate species, more than any other country its size in Africa. A proper primate safari is gorilla, chimpanzee, golden monkey, red colobus, L'Hoest's, blue monkey and the others, across Bwindi, Kibale, Mgahinga and the Kyambura Gorge.
The classic primate route
Entebbe to Kibale (chimps), to Queen Elizabeth (Kyambura gorge chimps and Kazinga), to Bwindi (gorillas), to Mgahinga (gorillas and golden monkeys), and out via Bunyonyi.
